President hears report by Emergencies Minister on Lozova disaster menagementPresident Victor Yushchenko received report from Minister for Emergencies Volodymyr Shandra on the situation in Lozova town, Kharkiv region where fire broke out in munitions depot. Minister Shandra assured President Yushchenko that the situation has stabilized for now, all necessary forces and equipment were mobilized on time and all local inhabitants threatened by the disaster received appropriate aid. He also reported to President on the schedule of further works and presented him the data on current rescue forces, working at the place.
President from his part said that he expects further reguilar reports from the area of the disaster. |
