President pleased with results of XII EU-Ukraine Summit
“Today we have received clear signal that future cooperation between Ukraine and the EU will be formed based on association agreement”, - said President Victor Yushchenko in an interview to Ukrainian media after the XII EU-Ukraine Summit in Paris. “The association agreement opens a new level of relations between Ukraine and the EU”, - he added. President emphasized that great work had been done by Ukrainian diplomats to achieve such a result and thanked Ministry of Foreign Affairs for that.
In general, according to President Yushchenko, the essence of the result lies in the fact that “Ukraine’s European identity has been affirmed for the first time”. |
