Bohdan Stupka thanks Viktor Yanukovych for supporting national cinema
Today President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych signed the Law “On Amendments to the Law of Ukraine ‘On Cinematography’ and other laws of Ukraine to support national film production”, aiming to support national cinema. The decision of the President was gladly accepted by the whole creative elite. People's Artist of Ukraine, the artistic director of National Ivan Franko Theater of Drama Bohdan Stupka came to a meeting with the President of Ukraine to thank for the decision. He also invited President Yanukovych to celebration of the 90th anniversary of Franko Drama Theater, which is scheduled on March 27. He said that the whole team of the theater and he personally would be glad to welcome the President at the event. The President said from his part that during his stay in Kaniv within the framework of the visit to Taras Shevchenko memorial, he promised to care for the humanitarian block. "It is very important that our national heritage, our policy served to unification of Ukraine", said Viktor Yanukovych. |
