President vetoes the new law on public procurement
"I have vetoed the law on public procurement. In the form it was voted for, the law contains some loopholes for corruption. This is unacceptable", said Viktor Yanukovych in the exclusive interview for Ukrainian TV Channel ‘1+1”.
I have returned the law to the Parliament with significant amendments, which would ensure transparency in decision-making in the process of making public procurement ", said President Viktor Yanukovych.
The decision of the President received the endorsement of many critics, including the opposition.
