Presidents of Ukraine and Kazakhstan discuss cooperation in space industry
Ukraine will join Kazakhstan and Russia in development of navigation satellite system "GLONASS", President Viktor Yanukovych and President Nursultan Nazarbayev have agreed during their telephone conversation.
Among other subjects raised during the conversation was the possibility of using Ukrainian carrier rocket Dnipro for bringing European PRISM and PICARD satellites into orbit.
The President of Kazakhstan has expressed support to the initiatives of Ukraine.
Along with cooperation in space industry sides have discussed Ukrainian-Kazakh cooperation in energy sector.
