President: Working group on judicial reform will meet next week
The working group on judicial reform is scheduled to meet next week, said President Viktor Yanukovych, speaking in Simferopol at his meeting with state officials of Crimea, held within the framework of his visit to the Autonomous Republic.
"Already next week, at the meeting of relevant working group, we will discuss the question of concept and mechanisms of judicial reform and take into account the opinion of lawyers, MPs, scientists, representatives of the expert community and the public", he said.
Viktor Yanukovych also said he does not rule out that under the concept changes to draft legislation, already in the Parliament, will be made and expressed hope that the Parliament will pass them soon.
Separately, the President stressed that conclusions of the Venice Commission should be considered while drafting and implementing the reform.
