Viktor Yanukovych: There is no strong state without faith

"I know that it is impossible to build a strong state without faith. I believe that we will do everything to make Ukraine strong and prosperous," said President Yanukovych speaking to the media in he Chersonesos Taurica National Reserve.

The President said that together with millions of Orthodox he celebrates today the anniversary of the Baptism of Kyivan Rus.

Viktor Yanukovych separately drew attention to the importance and greatness of the the Chersonesos itself, because Prince Volodymyr had been baptized here and "had started his holy mission – the baptism of Rus”.
