President visits Kyiv School #16

On the occasion of the Day of Knowledge President Viktor Yanukovych visited Kyiv School #16 to congratulate pupils and teachers on the beginning of the new school year.

President Yanukovych wished the first graders to be always happy to attend school and that their teachers put heart in teaching them.

“I am sure that you all wish that our children got good education. And it will be so. The state needs well educated people, who will build a modern country,” he said, addressing the audience.

There is no doubt, he said, that educational institutions must be re-equipped, provided with modern technologies and computers, etc.

“We will be doing just that with our own hands and our own skill... I wish us all that we believed that our country will be getting stronger year by year,” he said.
