President Yanukovych officially welcomed to China by Chinese Leader Hu Jintao
President Viktor Yanukovych was officially welcomed to China by the Paramount Leader Hu Jintao. The ceremony was held at the House of People's Assembly (Parliament Building) in central Beijing. After mutual introduction of the official delegations of Ukraine and China, military orchestra performed anthems of both countries and the two leaders passed the Honor Guard.
Among members of the Ukrainian delegation are Chief of Presidential Staff Serhiy Lyovochkin, First Vice Prime Minister Andriy Klyuev, Foreign Minister Kostyantyn Gryshchenko, Energy Minister Yuriy Boyko, Minister of Defense Mykhaylo Yezhel, Industrial Policy Minister Dmytro Kolesnikov, Minister of Culture and Tourism Mykhaylo Kulynyak, Minister of Economy Vasyl Tsushko, Coal Industry Minister Yuriy Yashchenko, Deputy Chiefs of Presidential Staff Hanna Herman and Andrii Goncharuk, National Bank Chairman Volodymyr Stelmakh, Chairman of State commission under the President of Ukraine on development and reform of military-industrial complex, MP Anatoly Kinakh and others.
After the ceremony, the two Leaders began their bilateral meeting.
