President Yushchenko meets President Shimon Peres
In Jerusalem President Victor Yushchenko
met with the President of the State of Israel
Shimon Peres.
Opening the meeting Victor Yushchenko greeted his Israeli colleague with the 60th anniversary of the State of Israel and wished prosperity to its nation. Then parties discussed some points in bilateral relations between the countries such as liberalization of visa regulations, establishment of a free trade zone, humanitarian cooperation, etc. President Yushchenko also invited Shimon Peres to visit Ukraine officially in the second half of 2008. |
