President Petro Poroshenko held a meeting with representatives of national television and movie industry, in the course of which he signed the law on amendments to the Customs Code of Ukraine as regards state support for cinematography in Ukraine and the law on amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine  as regards state support for cinematography in Ukraine.

President Petro Poroshenko met and communicated with the cadets of lyceum №23 "Cadet Corps" with increased military and physical training.

President Petro Poroshenko noted that in hybrid war conditions, the state, its Armed Forces and Special Services acquire a unique experience. “The Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine is one of the few global intelligence services capable of holding active measures,” the President emphasized during the festivities on the occasion of the 26th anniversary of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine.

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko accepted credentials from the ambassadors of several foreign countries: the Republic of Indonesia - Mr. Yuddy Chrisnandi, the Socialist Republic of Vietnam - Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Australia - Mrs. Melissa O'Rourke and the Kingdom of Spain - Mrs. Silvia Cortes Martin.

President Petro Poroshenko called the Holodomor, the eighty-fifth anniversary of which is commemorated today by Ukrainians, "the greatest tragedy in the history of Ukraine and one of the most terrible tragedies in the human history of the last century."

"I wish that at least our children witness the incredible. I wish there would be such changes in Russia that will make its new elite also recognize the Holodomor as a genocide. Or at least repent for it. The Russian Federation has voluntarily called itself the successor of the Soviet Union. Hence, whether it wants it or not, it took over not only the assets of the former USSR but also the responsibility for the crimes of the Soviet regime," President Petro Poroshenko addressed the Ukrainians during the commemoration of the victims of the Holodomor of 1932-33 in Ukraine.

In the course of the ceremony of honoring the victims of the Holodomor of 1932-1933 in Ukraine, President Petro Poroshenko stressed the importance for our descendants “to always know that it wasn’t just an artificial famine, but a thoroughly planned Holodomor”.

The Head of State laid the composition of ears and viburnum at the foot of the Memorial sign to the victims of Holodomor on Mykhailivs’ka Square in Kyiv.

Petro Poroshenko and Pavel Filip confirmed mutual support for sovereignty and territorial integrity of the two states in the face of existing challenges and threats.

The President expressed gratitude to NATO for the unwavering support of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine and assistance in countering Russian aggression.
