President Petro Poroshenko met with the representatives of national and foreign business and emphasized that macro-economic and macro-financial situation in Ukraine has changed drastically and the revenues of the State Budget have grown due to unshadowing and fighting corruption.
“The revenues of the State Budget have grown sharply due to unshadowing and fighting corruption. This is a vivid evidence that financial and shady streams that nourished criminals and corrupt officials previously have been finally brought to the State Budget,” Petro Poroshenko noted.
The President noted that the share of the EU in our foreign trade has increased considerably, in particular, in 2009 it was 25%, in 2014 - 30%, now it is 40%.
The Head of State also emphasized that in the framework of the decentralization policy, local budget revenues and development-oriented expenditures have increased significantly. In some territorial communities, they have increased 7-10 times, he said.
The President recalled the growth of the minimum wage and, accordingly, the growth of the average wage in the state. Also, the UST rate for employers and the amount of taxes have been significantly reduced.
The Head of State stressed that transparent spending of public funds was introduced through public access to all expenditures of the State Budget. He also recalled the introduction of the system of electronic administration of VAT and the single VAT refund register.
