APU Head met with the Ambassador of France in Ukraine

Head of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine Ihor Rainin held a working meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Ukraine Isabelle Dumont.

The parties discussed prospects of international cooperation between Ukraine and France, particularly in the civil service reform of our country and education of civil servants. Special attention was paid to the “Management Education for Prefects” project given the significant experience of the French school of public administration implemented by the National School of Administration in France (Ecole Nationale d’Administration (ENA).

The parties decided to agree on the roadmap of establishing the same education institution shortly. It would improve coordination and accelerate practical implementation of the best European standards of public administration in our country.

The APU Head thanked the French Ambassador for the active participation of France in the Normandy format and the unwavering support for Ukraine's sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity.

In the course of the meeting, the invitation of President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko to visit Ukraine was conveyed to President of France Emmanuel Macron.
