President’s wife Maryna Poroshenko presented music instruments to the students of R. Glier Kyiv Institute of Music within the Great Silk Road project.
The list of instruments includes 6 violins and 2 violas from the private collection of the Chinese artist whose works are popular in Singapore, USA, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Czech Republic and other countries.
According to Maryna Poroshenko, the given music instruments will facilitate the improvement of professional skills of young musicians. “And in the near future today’s students will enter the ranks of glorious graduates of the institute like Mykola Lysenko, Hryhoriy Veryovka and others, as the name of this music institution is related to the famous Ukrainian musicians,” the President’s wife noted.
In the framework of the event, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of China to Ukraine Du Wei presented the Silkroad humanities cooperation award to Maryna Poroshenko.
