Dear Mr. President,
On behalf of the people of Ukraine and on my own behalf, I would like to congratulate you on the Independence Day of the United States of America.
We, in Ukraine, greatly share the fundamental meaning of this important day for the American nation. A strategic partner and a great friend of Ukraine, the US has always been a champion of democracy in the Free World and a global leader in guarding international law and order. My country will be standing strongly by your side in this noble mission.
I would like to thank you, Mr. President, for the US leadership in ensuring continuous support for Ukraine and strengthening international unity and solidarity with my country. As we fight for sovereignty and territorial integrity against the ongoing Russian aggression in Ukraine, we fight for freedom, security and stability of the entire Free World. I am confident that assisting Ukraine’s drive for a vibrant and resilient democratic society and enhancing defense capabilities will contribute greatly to a safer international environment and a more prosperous world.
It is with inspiration and firm belief in the values we share and promote that I recall our recent meeting in the Oval Office. It was a great opportunity to discuss the challenges we face, to coordinate efforts to counter them jointly, and to outline prospective for even greater Ukraine-US relations and our bilateral agenda.
I strongly believe that under your leadership we will be able to deepen the Ukraine-US strategic partnership, to strengthen common security foundations, and to greatly expand the cooperation between our countries.
Availing myself of this opportunity, I would like to renew my invitation to you and the First Lady to visit Ukraine at your earliest convenience.
I wish you, Mr. President, sound health and every success in your important work, as well as peace, stability and prosperity to the friendly American people.
Mr. Donald J. Trump
President of the United States of America
