During the meeting with regional media in Vinnytsia, President Petro Poroshenko told that he would visit Germany on April 9-10 to discuss peace, introduction of a peacekeeping mission in the Donbas and support for reforms in Ukraine.
“On Monday I go to Germany. This is one of the first foreign meetings of the newly elected German Government," the President said. According to him, a meeting with Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel is also planned.
“I am extremely grateful for her priorities, that Ukraine is very high in Germany's priorities. As an example, the coalition agreement of the German government considers the issue of Ukraine, the issue of peacekeepers one of the most important," the Head of State emphasized.
The President said: "What will we discuss? Peace, peacekeepers, support of reforms, specific projects that we are deploying together with Germany in Ukraine. Germany has more than 30 projects of support for our reforms". The Head of State also noted that today, a German expert responsible for decentralization and rural medicine took part in the decentralization meeting.
"The agenda is very big. Wait for Tuesday," Petro Poroshenko summed up.
