In the framework of a working visit to Turkey, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko met with the President of the Republic of Serbia Alexander Vuchich.
The parties discussed the relevant issues of the bilateral agenda.
They were talking about activating political dialogue, as well as strengthening the economic component of relations. In this context, the importance of holding in the near future a regular meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation, as well as the expediency of continuing the organization of bilateral business forums, was noted.
Presidents of the two countries also paid attention to the issues of cooperation within the framework of international organizations, as well as the interaction in the humanitarian sphere.
The heads of two states agreed with the importance of strict adherence to the principles of sovereignty and territorial integrity.
The parties agreed on the further liberalization of the visa regime and the development of people-to-people contacts.
