“There are now more than 360 shelves in 63 countries around the world. They are opening and operating to bring our homeland closer to Ukrainian communities and people forced to flee their homes, to unite cultures and nations, to expand the language of understanding across the globe – and to make sure Ukraine’s voice is heard by everyone who seeks the truth,” said Olena Zelenska.

“It is especially moving that the marriage of Ellisiv and King Harald Hardrada was not merely a dynastic matter, but also an expression of affection – we know this because poems written by the future king and dedicated to his bride have survived,” the First Lady said.

First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska, together with Minister of Foreign Affairs Andrii Sybiha, took part in a meeting with rectors and leadership of Norwegian universities and organizations on the occasion of their accession to the Global Coalition of Ukrainian Studies.

The First Lady of Ukraine, together with the team of the Olena Zelenska Foundation, presented the Foundation’s work in Norway for the first time to launch cooperation with Norwegian businesses on joint humanitarian and educational initiatives.

First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska addressed the participants of the Ukrainian Women’s Congress 2025 online. The event’s slogan was “The Courage to Be Yourself,” and it focused on stories of women whose courage is transforming Ukraine every day.

The President’s wife met with a Ukrainian warrior who is receiving treatment at the facility under the medical evacuation (Medevac) program. More than 450 Ukrainians have been brought to Norway for treatment within this initiative.

First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska took part in the opening of a therapeutic garden at VDNG in Kyiv. The space will provide rehabilitation and emotional support for defenders and anyone in need.

On the occasion of World Organ Donation and Transplantation Day, First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska visited the children’s hospital “Okhmatdyt” and met with young patients and their parents.

At the center, veterans work with orientation and mobility trainers, learn Braille, daily living skills, and how to operate gadgets and access information through specialized software, artificial intelligence, and voice assistants.

The Olena Zelenska Foundation and the UAE Aid Agency (United Arab Emirates) have signed a new cooperation agreement providing $5 million in funding for the implementation of social and humanitarian projects in Ukraine.
