The President thanked Friedrich Merz for Germany’s steadfast support and leadership in protecting the lives of Ukrainians. This month, Germany will provide new air defense packages.

His moral leadership and compassion were a source of strength and will remain an integral part of the friendship between our two peoples,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy wrote.

A meeting of the Coordination Council on the Protection of the Rights of War Veterans and Members of Their Families, Family Members of Fallen (Deceased) Defenders of Ukraine, as well as Prisoners of War and Missing Persons, was held under the chairmanship of Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Kyrylo Budanov.

Over the summer, the foreign policy work of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy focused on bringing our people home from Russian captivity: five prisoner exchanges took place, bringing home 466 of our defenders and 12 civilians.

They may be difficult decisions. They may be unpleasant decisions. They may be unpopular decisions. But they are necessary decisions that help Ukraine get through this time – the time of war, ensure the needs of the front, protect our people, and secure social payments. $30 billion this year depends entirely on the Government and the Members of Parliament.

Today, we want to warn every airline that uses Russian airspace, every insurer, and everyone who still uses Russia’s key airports: Russian airspace is becoming completely unsafe. Ukraine does not threaten civilian aviation as such – not a single civilian aircraft.
