In Lviv, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting with King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden, who visited Ukraine for the second time since the restoration of our independence and for the first time since the beginning of Russian aggression. His Majesty was accompanied by a government delegation.

Virtually every day, at both the political and military levels, we are in communication with our partners to strengthen air defense. We are seeking anti-ballistic capabilities. The Netherlands will fully train the crew and will transfer the vessel to Ukraine as early as June. It will be named “Henichesk” in honor of a vessel that Ukraine lost while it was carrying out a combat mission in June 2022 near the Kinburn Spit. The ship is expected to take part in the Sea Breeze exercise in 2027.
