President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a phone conversation with Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Boris Johnson. The interlocutors agreed that in the context of the ongoing Russian aggression in Ukraine, the occupation of Crimea and Russia's failure to comply with the Minsk agreements, it is impossible to talk about the return of the Russian Federation to the international platform where global problems are being solved.
“More than a month ago, the President urged the Parliament to postpone disproportionately tough sanctions for violation of the terms of customs clearance of imported cars and offered to consider the given issue at an extraordinary meeting. However, the Verkhovna Rada of the VIII convocation refused to do so. This bill is currently a priority and will be submitted for consideration again at the first session of the parliament of a new convocation. The Verkhovna Rada should approve the bill and the penalties will be postponed,” Ruslan Ryaboshapka explained the situation.

Following the meeting, Representative of the President in the Cabinet of Ministers Andriy Gerus informed that an agreement had been achieved as regards three steps necessary to reduce electricity price. "If these three measures are implemented, we can get about a 20% reduction in the tariff for all consumers - large, medium and small business, budgetary institutions and organizations, kindergartens and schools," he said.
