Restrictive measures to combat COVID-19 will be in force in Ukraine until May 11, as planned, but the country is already preparing for quarantine exit. This was discussed at a daily conference call on the prevention of the spread of coronavirus chaired by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Ukraine gets ready for a gradual mitigation of quarantine rules elaborating all stages in detail. Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal announced this at a traditional meeting with representatives of the Cabinet of Ministers and major state agencies responsible for preventing the spread of COVID-19 chaired by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

A plane from China arrived at Boryspil International Airport delivering 400,000 respirators and 50,000 protective face shields for Ukrainian doctors. This is the last flight from the "air bridge" organized by the President's Office to meet the needs of Ukraine in personal protective equipment and medicines. The Ministry of Health will continue to supply everything necessary. This was reported by Deputy Head of the Office of the President, Secretary of the Coordination Council on Combating the Spread of COVID-19 Kyrylo Tymoshenko.

The interlocutors exchanged information on the measures taken by Ukraine and Sweden to counteract COVID-19 and agreed on the need to coordinate appropriate steps to protect the health of the citizens of both countries. They noted the importance of organizing flights to return Ukrainians to their homeland, the last of which was made the day before.
