President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy expects the renewed composition of the Commission on Legal Reform to work out proposals on judicial reform in the near future. The President stated this on ICTV’s Freedom of Speech on Monday.

The election of the new composition of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine must take place on a competitive basis, transparently and openly. This was emphasized by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on ICTV’s Freedom of Speech.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted that the National Security and Defense Council's immediate reaction to the Constitutional Court's decision to abolish anticorruption infrastructure and the draft law on resetting the CCU submitted to the parliament deterred judges from making even more destructive decisions.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy took part in a meeting of the Servant of the People faction in the Verkhovna Rada and discussed the need to reset the Constitutional Court with people's deputies.

Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak met with the ambassadors of the G7 countries. The main topic of the meeting was the recent events related to the decision of the judges of the Constitutional Court, which caused a great resonance in society.

The Ukrainian party in the TCG initiated an urgent meeting of the working group on security issues. This was announced by Oleksiy Arestovych, Adviser on Information Policy of the Ukrainian Delegation to the Trilateral Contact Group.

An extraordinary urgent meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers was held with the participation of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, at which an order was adopted that will allow unblocking the activities of the National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP). An urgent meeting of the government was held in the Office of the Head of State to implement the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy chaired an urgent closed-door session of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine on urgent measures to be taken by the state after the Constitutional Court ruled that certain provisions of the Law on Prevention of Corruption and Article 366-1 of the Criminal Code were unconstitutional.

An urgent closed-door session of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (NSDC) began under the chairmanship of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on urgent measures to be taken by the state after the Constitutional Court ruled on the unconstitutionality of certain provisions of the Law on Prevention of Corruption and Article 366-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

The President will invite the members of the National Security and Defense Council to discuss the situation in the country's national security and take appropriate decisions. Necessary bills, which will further prevent the emergence of such crises, will be developed and submitted by the Head of State to the Verkhovna Rada as urgent.
