President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with newly appointed Ambassador of Ukraine to the United States Volodymyr Yelchenko. During the meeting the prospects of further development of Ukrainian-US relations were discussed.

The Head of State thanked Andrzej Duda for Poland's active position in support of Ukraine's territorial integrity and sovereignty. The President of Poland noted that his state would continue to advocate the continuation of sanction pressure on the Russian Federation until full implementation of the Minsk agreements and restoration of Ukraine's sovereignty.

During his conversation with the Ambassador of Greece, Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked for the consistent support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine. During his meeting with the Ambassador of Canada, the President stressed that enhancing the Special Partnership relations with Canada was a priority for Ukraine.

At the last meeting in Minsk on December 18, the participants of the Trilateral Contact Group on the peaceful settlement of the situation in eastern Ukraine agreed to continue consultations by the end of the year, in particular through video conferences, as stated by representative of Ukraine in the TCG political subgroup on political issues Oleksiy Reznikov.

On Saint Nicholas Day, Volodymyr Zelenskyy invited two kids - Artem Kyryliuk and Mykyta Baula, whose parents were killed during hostilities in Donbas, for a cup of tea in his office.

The children of the National Scout Organization of Ukraine and the Association of Ukrainian Guides passed the Peace Light of Bethlehem on to President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy. The scouts recalled that they had been bringing this symbol of harmony, goodness and prosperity to Ukraine for over 10 years and expressed content that they could pass the Light of Bethlehem on to the President on Saint Nicholas Day.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy called on the Government and the Verkhovna Rada to ensure the approval of the law on the support for the national agricultural producer and abolish the so-called soybeans amendments without delay.

In the framework of opening the land market in Ukraine, it is necessary to establish the possibility of owning land of not more than 10 thousand hectares. The initiative was put forward by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during his communication with the farmers in Krasna Slobidka village, Obukhov district, Kyiv region.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy invited Azerbaijani companies to invest in infrastructure, tourism and road construction in Ukraine and promised to protect every investor.

During an official visit to Azerbaijan, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and his wife Olena visited the Ukrainian Cultural and Educational Center of Baku Slavic University.
