Following the Summit, the First Lady of Ukraine, together with her counterparts from other countries, announced the launch of a global communication campaign in support of education – “Every Generation Leaves Its Mark. Education Shapes Its Legacy.” The campaign was created in partnership with UNICEF and Banda.

At the initiative of the First Lady of Ukraine, Olena Zelenska, the Fifth Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen was held in Kyiv. For the first time, the event lasted two days, marking the largest gathering in the Summit’s history.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting with the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs of the United Kingdom, Yvette Cooper, who is visiting Ukraine on her official first trip.

Ending Russia’s war is possible through collective strong pressure and the joint development, together with Europe and the United States, of a multi-component air defense system. This was stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy during his speech at the annual Yalta European Strategy (YES) meeting.

Only together can we achieve peace. And only if we respond strongly to every question this war poses.

The world needs to understand and believe that education can protect humanity, prevent wars, and strengthen peace. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized this in his speech at the Fifth Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen.

Above all, thank you for being with Ukraine and in Ukraine, and for the fact that all of this – our Fifth Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen – is taking place, and it is important that it is taking place, despite everything, despite the air raid alerts and threats.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy presented state awards to the First Ladies of Finland and Estonia and the First Gentleman of Denmark, who came to Ukraine to participate in the Fifth Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen. Ukraine’s First Lady Olena Zelenska also took part in the ceremony.
