The Ukrainian delegation, including Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak, Deputy Prime Minister - Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories Oleksiy Reznikov and member of the Ukrainian delegation to the TCG Andriy Kostin took part in a meeting of political advisors to the leaders of the member states of the Normandy format on Friday in Berlin.

The President thanked the Albanian Chairmanship of the OSCE for giving priority to the issue of restoring the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine within the work of the Organization.

The heads of state discussed steps aimed at counteracting the spread of coronavirus and minimizing the impact of the pandemic on the citizens of Ukraine and Poland. In this context, Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked Andrzej Duda for the practical assistance provided by the Polish side.

Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak arrived in Berlin on Friday as part of the Ukrainian delegation to hold negotiations between the delegations of the Normandy format countries at the level of political advisors to the leaders of Ukraine, Germany, France and Russia.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a phone conversation with Federal Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel. The President of Ukraine informed of the security situation in Donbas, as well as the efforts of the Ukrainian party aimed at achieving peace in the region.

That is why the "one-time inspection" of only one point agreed within the security subgroup of the TCG will not take place.
