President Karis was here in Kyiv two days, exactly two days, before Russia’s full-scale invasion. Throughout the war, we have met with the President many times and reached agreements – always. I am grateful to Estonia for the level of cooperation we have achieved and for its unwavering principled stance in assessing Russian aggression and in our joint European efforts in defense. 

At the Sixth Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen, First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska presented the Global Vocabulary of Resilience – a publication that, for the first time, brought together the experiences of 38 countries and became a practical outcome of this year’s Summit.

Right now, it is the resilience of Ukraine, the resilience of Ukrainians – our people – that carries the unique experience and the most relevant context. This resilience has endurance – serious endurance. Twelve years of Russia’s latest attempts to break Ukrainians. 1,643 days of full-scale war.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy took part in the Sixth Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen, dedicated to the theme “World 2026: Finding Stability in Times of Uncertainty.”

In Kyiv, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Andy Burnham, who made his first foreign visit in office to Ukraine.

The Head of State thanked the President of the European Council for congratulating Ukraine on the 35th anniversary of the restoration of its independence and for coming to Kyiv on this important day.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and First Lady Olena Zelenska took part in events marking the 35th anniversary of the restoration of Ukraine’s independence, held on Sophia Square in Kyiv.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy took part in a meeting of the Coalition of the Willing, which brought together representatives of more than 30 countries, both in person and online. This was the 16th meeting of the Coalition since its first gathering in February 2025.

This year’s Summit theme is “World 2026: Finding Stability in Times of Uncertainty.” The event became a platform for countries from around the world to share their own experiences of resilience.

The Head of State outlined in detail the challenges that require urgent action – financing the army and addressing the budget deficit. The President emphasized that it is important that Luxembourg is ready to help find solutions both bilaterally and multilaterally within the European Union.
