The Head of State thanked Qatar for participating in the first Peace Summit, mediating the return of 53 children illegally abducted from Ukraine by Russia, and providing them with necessary medical and psychological care.  

The Ukrainian leader expressed his gratitude for all of Switzerland’s political and humanitarian support, including the successful organization of the first Peace Summit and participation in thematic conferences that followed, as well as for the willingness to work together in the pursuit of a just and sustainable peace for Ukraine and all of Europe.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a phone conversation with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau ahead of Canada’s upcoming G7 presidency.

The event was attended by owners and executives of the largest Ukrainian companies operating in the pharmaceutical, logistics, agricultural, energy, telecommunications, service, financial and banking sectors, as well as defense industry enterprises.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with representatives of national communities and indigenous peoples of Ukraine.

The President of Ukraine expressed his particular gratitude to Argentina for the important steps taken to support our country during the first year of Javier Milei's presidency: participation in the inaugural Peace Summit and joining the Coalition for the Return of Ukrainian Children, the International Crimea Platform and the Ramstein format.

The President emphasized that it is thanks to such people that Ukraine is among almost 200 independent countries in the world.

The Head of State congratulated the Jewish community on the holiday and thanked them for their prayers for Ukraine and Ukrainians.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a telephone conversation with Prime Minister of Japan Shigeru Ishiba.

On the occasion of Christmas, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and First Lady Olena Zelenska visited the large foster family of the Alekseienkos and presented them with the keys to their new home. The house was built as part of the second wave of the Olena Zelenska Foundation’s project, “Room for Childhood.”
