On July 5, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy took part in the memorial events on the occasion of the fifth anniversary of the liberation of Sloviansk and Kramatorsk from Russian occupation.

On July 5, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy presented newly appointed Donetsk RSA Head Pavlo Kyrylenko in Kramatorsk.

The 21st Ukraine-EU Summit will take place in Kyiv on July 8, 2019. The event will be chaired by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelesnkyy, President of the European Council Donald Tusk and President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker.

The Head of State will take part in the events on the occasion of the fifth anniversary of the liberation of Sloviansk and Kramatorsk.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with members of the Canadian Parliament, representatives of the group of friendship with Ukraine. The Head of State expressed gratitude for the consistent and powerful support for Ukraine by all political parties represented in the Canadian Parliament.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy urged Canadian business to invest in Ukraine during a meeting with business representatives from the Economic Club of Canada. "Invest in Ukraine! Why? Because we are one of the most promising countries with a great growth potential," Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Vice President of the World Bank for Europe and Central Asia Cyril Muller in Toronto. The Head of State thanked for the cooperation of the World Bank with Ukraine.

The President stressed that Ukraine fully supported the political-diplomatic way of resolving the conflict in Donbas. This is evidenced by the "re-launch" of the work of Ukrainian representatives in the Trilateral Contact Group, steps towards the intensification of the Normandy format and separation of forces and means in Stanytsia Luhanska. At the same time, Russia does not show goodwill to resolve the conflict.

It is impossible to talk about the development of Ukraine without mentioning the topic of Donbas and Crimea. This was announced during a conference on reforms in Ukraine held in Toronto by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy. "The return of our territories, the captives, the achievement of peace - this is the most important thing. This is the first thing that a citizen-oriented state should provide," the Head of State said.

According to Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Canada is an example of the state Ukraine would like to become: a state of successful, prosperous people living in harmony with the outside world, the environment and themselves. "We do not have excessive global ambitions, but we are ready to surprise the world in a positive way," he said.
