President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy instructed Chief of the General Staff - Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Ruslan Khomchak to take personal control over the investigation into the circumstances of the crash of Mi-8 helicopter that took place in Rivne region late in the evening on Wednesday, May 29.

The National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine will consider the problems in the coal industry. This was announced by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy on May 29 during the briefing in Lviv region.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited Lisova mine in Sokal district of Lviv region, where two miners were killed in the accident last night - Mykhailo Turko and Mykhailo Pavlyk. The Head of State spoke to the relatives of the miners and expressed deep condolences.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized that everything necessary would be done to return captive warriors. “We will act as fast and efficient as possible to free our men,” the Head of State emphasized.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy made the first working visit to Luhansk region to get himself acquainted with the positions of the military in Stanytsia Luhanska and Shchastya. The Head of State talked with soldiers about living conditions, food quality, equipment, housing, social package and staffing of units.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy called on people's deputies to stop using the Verkhovna Rada's rostrum for personal PR and turning the Ukrainian Parliament into a platform for the election campaigns of the old parties.
