Ukraine is implementing the recommendations necessary for a political decision to start negotiations on membership in the European Union and expects a positive result by the end of this year. This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during a meeting with media representatives.

This was stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy during an extended meeting with President of the European Council Charles Michel and President of Moldova Maia Sandu on the occasion of the Day of Dignity and Freedom.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held bilateral meetings with President of the European Council Charles Michel and President of the Republic of Moldova Maia Sandu, who are on a visit to Ukraine.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Olena Zelenska, together with Maia Sandu, placed icon lamps to the cross on the Heavenly Hundred Heroes Alley in Kyiv. 

Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted the importance of the visit of the American delegation on the eve of the next meeting in the Ramstein format, which is expected to strengthen Ukraine's position on the battlefield. In this regard, he informed in detail about the current situation at the front, strategic goals and priority needs of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

The President noted the important role of the world media in consolidating international support for Ukraine and expressed condolences to all those whose relatives and friends were taken by the war.

On the occasion of Students' Day, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting with students and faculty of Mariupol State University, which resumed its operation in April 2022 based on the Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture in Kyiv.

On the occasion of the Day of Radio, Television and Communication Workers, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held an online meeting with representatives of Ukrainian media involved in the United News telethon.

The Head of State noted that he was pleased to personally congratulate the media workers on their professional holiday, as he highly appreciates the work of each of them.

The Head of State congratulated David Cameron on his appointment and thanked him for making his first working visit in the new position to Kyiv.
