In Madrid, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting with the leadership of the Spanish Sener Group, which today signed three agreements with Ukrainian defense manufacturers.
The group’s executives, led by President Andrés Sendagorta and CEO Jorge Sendagorta, gave the Head of State a detailed overview of their full production capabilities – from the development of autonomous systems and communications systems to participation in various air defense programs. In particular, Sener manufactures components for missiles used in IRIS-T systems, which are assembled in Germany for Ukraine.
Sener also operates in the aerospace sector, delivers energy and infrastructure projects, and overall specializes in complex high-tech solutions.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted that Ukraine is interested in joint projects in the field of long-range drone production, as our country has new developments and is ready to scale them up.
Company representatives also demonstrated to the President the military equipment they produce, as well as a production line for missile components.
In the presence of Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the Ukrainian company Fire Point, the State Kyiv Design Bureau Luch, and the research and production enterprise Radionix signed cooperation agreements with Sener. These arrangements focus on establishing collaboration in the missile sector and air defense and will strengthen the protection of Ukraine’s skies.
Another cooperation agreement was concluded between representatives of the Spanish company Escribano and the Ukrainian manufacturer of unmanned aerial systems Skyeton. The companies will jointly develop and manufacture strike laser-guided systems based on Ukrainian-made unmanned systems.
“Strengthening air defense and protecting lives is our top priority. We expect that all agreements between Ukrainian and Spanish manufacturers will be implemented as soon as possible,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy stressed.
