We understand that much of the world’s attention is currently focused on the war in Iran. But the war here in Europe must also be brought to an end – a very bloody war that is already in its fifth year at full scale. And the sooner we are able to provide greater protection against ballistic threats, the sooner we will be able to make diplomacy work.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a phone call with President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen.

On the Day of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with SOF warriors at one of the command posts, congratulated them on the 10th anniversary of the creation of the Special Operations Forces, presented state awards, handed over a battle flag, conferred an honorary name, and spoke with SOF military leadership.

First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska, together with Prime Minister of Ukraine Yuliia Svyrydenko, Deputy Prime Minister for Humanitarian Policy – Minister of Culture of Ukraine Tetiana Berezhna, and ministers, attended the performance of “Eneida” by Veterans Theater – a unique project by the Communications Department of the Command of the Territorial Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Theater of Playwrights.

The most important thing for every person is being where they are needed, and Ukrainians are needed by their country – right now and always. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said this while taking part in the “Better at Home!” talk show – a platform for dialogue with young people about the future, organized by the Office of the President together with the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Head of the United Transitional Cabinet of Belarus Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya, who visited our country for the first time.

In Kyiv, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy took part in the 4th International Summit of Cities and Regions “Partnership. Resilience. Readiness,” which brought together representatives of 24 countries.

“We are especially grateful to our closest friends, and France is one of them. We have excellent relations with your President and your people. From the very beginning of this war, the French people have shown that they are on the right side of history,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.

At the start of National Barrier-Free Week, First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska, together with representatives of the government and civil society, opened the art project “Barrier-Free Means Seeing the Person Behind the Words.” It consists of a series of illustrations created by Ukrainian artists.

For us, it has always been very important what societies think – what societies think about what is happening, and whether ordinary people feel, in a broad sense, what we are fighting for; whether they feel what we are fighting for here, in Ukraine, and what would threaten others if Ukraine had not held out.
