The interlocutors discussed a number of topical issues of bilateral cooperation, including further interaction in the security sphere. In Munich, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a meeting with Friedrich Merz, Chairman of the Christian Democratic Union party and Leader of the CDU/CSU opposition faction in the German Bundestag.

The Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, held a meeting with Anders Fogh Rasmussen, NATO Secretary General from 2009 to 2014.

On the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Prime Minister of Sweden Ulf Kristersson.

The main topic of the meeting was the coordination of steps to achieve a just peace, joint efforts, and European unity. It is important that Europeans have a unified position on a just end to the war and strong and reliable security guarantees. The future not only of Ukraine but of Europe depends on it.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Alexander Stubb separately discussed defense assistance to Ukraine and direct investments in the production of Ukrainian long-range weapons.

The main topic of the meeting was the development of joint projects between the Ukrainian and German defense industries. Special focus was placed on the potential for launching joint production of 155-mm ammunition, specifically in Ukraine.

The Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, met with the National Security Advisor to the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Jonathan Powell, in Munich.

The leaders discussed the efforts needed to achieve a just and lasting peace, paying special attention to the development of a joint position and reliable security guarantees. In addition, the parties discussed funding for Ukrainian weapons production, including long-range missiles and drones.
