Deputy Head of the President's Office Roman Mashovets met with Canadian Ambassador to Ukraine Larisa Galadza to discuss the deteriorating situation in the east of our country, ways to deter Russian aggression and the state and prospects of reforming Ukraine's national security and defense sector.

Roman Mashovets thanked for NATO's support in the issue of Ukraine's Euro-Atlantic integration and bringing it closer to the standards of the North Atlantic Alliance.

The parties focused on countering the spread of the coronavirus pandemic and ensuring a proper vaccination procedure, which is currently underway in both Ukraine and Estonia. The interlocutors stressed the importance of ensuring proper access of countries to certified vaccines.

During the conversation, the presidents' wives discussed priority topics of cooperation, including achieving the goals of the Biarritz Partnership, strengthening Ukrainian-French cultural ties and further introducing Ukrainian-language audio guides in France.

The Verkhovna Rada held a successful and productive extraordinary session, said President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. In particular, he noted that the parliament had approved a number of important bills needed by Ukrainian citizens and businesses.

Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Ihor Zhovkva had a phone conversation with Diplomatic Advisor to the President of the Portuguese Republic Maria Amélia Paiva.

Today, we hold the same hope that as we fight to overcome the COVID-19 pandemic together, we can build a more robust international health architecture that will protect future generations.

Andriy Yermak thanked the United States for a clear and consistent policy in support of Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity.

The XXIX meeting of the Advisory Committee of the Presidents of Ukraine and the Republic of Poland was held with the participation of Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Ihor Zhovkva and Secretary of State of the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland Krzysztof Szczerski in the format of a video conference.

The supply of vaccines against COVID-19 and the possibility of introducing "vaccination passports" were discussed at a conference call on preventing the spread of coronavirus, which took place under the chairmanship of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
