President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has signed a Decree establishing the honorary distinction “Rescue Community” to recognize the courage, compassion, and solidarity shown by residents of territorial communities in the fight against Russian aggression.

Yesterday, on the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy presented 20 certificates for apartments to the Heroes of Ukraine and to the families of warriors awarded this title posthumously.

In his address marking Ukrainian Armed Forces Day, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy spoke about Ukrainian warriors honored through murals in Ukraine and around the world.

The parties covered multiple aspects and went through key points that could ensure an end to the bloodshed and eliminate the threat of a third Russian invasion, as well as the risk of Russia failing to honor its promises, as it has done repeatedly in the past.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy took part in the second Military Prayer Breakfast held on the occasion of the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The event brought together the heads of churches and religious organizations, military chaplains, Ukraine’s defenders, and international guests.

The Head of State spoke with defenders who have suffered severe injuries to their arms and legs. The President thanked them for their service and for defending Ukraine, wishing them a swift recovery.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Mark Rutte exchanged assessments of the diplomatic situation. The President briefed him on the talks between Ukrainian representatives in the United States with President Donald Trump’s team.

American businessman and philanthropist Dell Loy Hansen joined Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Olena Zelenska during the visit. It was with his support that the Olena Zelenska Foundation built a home for the Liashko family under the Room for Childhood project.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy congratulated warriors on the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, presented them with state awards, and handed combat flags, honorary distinction ribbons “For Courage and Bravery,” and a ribbon bearing an honorary name to unit commanders.

I thank our servicemembers who, on the battlefield, do their utmost so that Ukraine has confidence at the negotiating table. So that it has dignity. So that it has strong arguments. Ukraine has all of this. Because it has you.
