The COVID-19 mortality rate in Ukraine is 2.7% of the number of infected. This is a much lower figure than the world average. It was stated by Minister of Health Maksym Stepanov at a traditional meeting chaired by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy on combating coronavirus.

The participants stressed the importance of close communication with the regions on ensuring conditions of self-isolation, observation of people arriving from abroad, and controlling the compliance with quarantine measures in the regions.

Yesterday, six points of fire outbreak were eliminated. There is no threat to the nuclear power plant, spent fuel storage and other critical facilities. As of now, there is no open flame in the Exclusion Zone. National police have already detained the people who caused the fire, and they will bear strict responsibility for all their actions.
