Today, Ukraine is closer to receiving the NATO Membership Action Plan (MAP) than ever before. This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in a joint interview for Agence France-Presse, Reuters and Associated Press.

The Head of State expressed hope that during the NATO summit on June 14 the issues of Russian aggression and effective steps to deter it would be considered. He stressed the importance for Ukraine of reaffirming the Alliance's "open door" policy and the validity of the decision of the 2008 NATO Bucharest Summit on MAP for our country in the decisions of this year's NATO summit.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Italian Republic Luigi Di Maio who is on an official visit to Ukraine.

Ihor Zhovkva informed about Ukraine's steps towards Euro-Atlantic integration. The Advisor to the Prime Minister of the Netherlands agreed on the importance of deepening cooperation between Ukraine and the Netherlands in this direction.
