The Head of State expressed hope that during the NATO summit on June 14 the issues of Russian aggression and effective steps to deter it would be considered.

The President of Ukraine thanked the Secretary General for NATO's consistent support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of our country.

He stressed the importance for Ukraine of reaffirming the Alliance's "open door" policy and the validity of the decision of the 2008 NATO Bucharest Summit on MAP for our country in the decisions of this year's NATO summit.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy also briefed Jens Stoltenberg on security and defense reforms and thanked NATO for its support in implementing these reforms.
