Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak held a phone call with U.S. Secretary of State and Acting National Security Advisor to the President of the United States Marco Rubio.
Andriy Yermak thanked the American side for its efforts to achieve a lasting and just peace for Ukraine, noting the special role of the Secretary of State in this process. He also expressed gratitude to U.S. Special Presidential Envoy for Ukraine, General Keith Kellogg, for his support of our country.
The Head of the Office of the President informed about active communication with partners in recent days, including during his meeting with U.S. Vice President JD Vance.
The parties coordinated their positions ahead of the next diplomatic steps, including those planned for this week.
Andriy Yermak stressed that Ukraine’s priority remains achieving a just and lasting peace. He also emphasized the need for an unconditional ceasefire as a prerequisite for substantive peace negotiations and for increasing pressure on Russia for it to take real steps in this direction.
The Head of the Office of the President thanked Donald Trump for his leadership in striving to end Russia’s war against Ukraine and the entire American people for their support and assistance.
