As part of the continued dialogue, Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak had a phone call with U.S. President's National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan.
Andriy Yermak informed the interlocutor about the operational situation on the frontline, as well as about the possible actions of Russia, which it is preparing in order to continue terror against the civilian population of Ukraine.
The parties discussed the provision of support to Ukraine to ensure getting through the winter period.
Separately, Andriy Yermak expressed gratitude to the U.S. for supporting the Grain from Ukraine humanitarian program launched by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy on November 26. The Head of the President's Office emphasized that the implementation of this initiative will help countries in Africa and Asia, which are on the brink of starvation due to Russia's blocking of Ukrainian food export routes.
The Head of the President’s Office thanked Jake Sullivan, U.S. President Joseph Biden, Congress and the entire American people for supporting Ukraine in the fight for freedom, justice and a safe future for all countries of the world.
