Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak held an online meeting with diplomatic representatives of the leaders of Nordic and Baltic countries to coordinate positions on negotiations aimed at achieving a just and lasting peace.
Andriy Yermak updated participants on the talks in Istanbul, the President of Ukraine’s meetings in Italy and the Vatican, as well as Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s conversations with U.S. President Donald Trump and European leaders.
The Head of the Presidential Office noted that the first step following negotiations with the Russian side should be the implementation of the prisoner exchange agreement in a “1,000 for 1,000” format. The second step is to determine the location for the next meeting with representatives of the Russian Federation.
The discussion also focused on maintaining and increasing sanction pressure on the Russian Federation due to its prolonging of the war.
