During her visit to Türkiye, First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska launched the Ukrainian version of the audio guide at the Anıtkabir memorial complex – the mausoleum and museum of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the first President of the Republic of Türkiye and the founder of the modern Turkish state.

Anıtkabir is a national symbol of Türkiye and a place where official ceremonies are held. It is regularly visited by citizens and foreign delegations.
“That is why it is such an honor and so important that the Ukrainian audio guide begins operating here today. The Ukrainian community in Türkiye, which has grown significantly because of Russia’s invasion, will be able to hear the history of Atatürk and his country in their native language. And Ukrainian will now be heard alongside English, French, Chinese, and Spanish, because it has the right to be available at leading landmarks around the world on equal terms with other languages,” Olena Zelenska said.
She thanked the museum team and the Ukrainian diplomatic mission in the Republic of Türkiye for their work on the project.

The First Lady laid flowers at the grave of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and recalled the key principle of the statesman: “Peace at Home, Peace in the World” (Turkish: Yurtta sulh, cihanda sulh).
“It means calm, harmony, and the absence of disputes within the country, as well as friendly relations with all other states. Atatürk believed that the borders and rules of every state must be respected. I sincerely wish both our countries peace at home. And, of course, peace in the world,” the President’s wife concluded.
