Olena Zelenska Foundation Provided 28 Generators to Support Medical, Educational, and Social Institutions and Foster Families

In cooperation with international partners, the Olena Zelenska Foundation delivered 28 generators of various capacities worth nearly UAH 10.5 million to medical, educational, and social institutions and foster families in different regions of Ukraine. The Foundation also provided communities with nearly 120 portable charging stations and 30 gas heaters.

Among the recipients were Kyiv City Clinical Hospital No. 7, where this ensures autonomous operation of one of Ukraine’s largest hematology-oncology departments, as well as the Sosnytsia Hospital in the Chernihiv region.

Thirteen generators and eight portable charging stations were delivered to geriatric and social care institutions. One hundred eleven portable charging stations were received by large foster families in the Dnipro, Kyiv, Kharkiv, Odesa, Mykolaiv, and Zaporizhzhia regions. Assistance points, warming centers, and educational institutions in the Dnipro region are now equipped with ten generators and thirty gas heaters.

In addition, the Foundation provided three generators to educational institutions in Kyiv, with seven more planned for delivery next week.

“Energy resilience today is about the ability of hospitals, schools, and social institutions to operate without interruption, and of families to feel protected even in difficult conditions. We respond promptly to needs and engage international partners to ensure that support is systematic and timely. Each generator or charging station delivered means a preserved school day, uninterrupted medical care, and warmth in the homes of Ukrainian families,” Olena Zelenska noted.

This assistance became possible thanks to the support of international partners, in particular First Lady of the Czech Republic Eva Pavlová, UNHCR, the Kellner Family Foundation, the DEİK/Türkiye-Ukraine Business Council, the Embassy of Ukraine in Poland, the Embassy of Ukraine in Moldova, the Consulate General of Ukraine in Istanbul, and Heartland A/S. The Foundation continues its work to secure and deliver energy equipment and is preparing the next stage of support for institutions and communities.
