Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov, held a meeting with a mission of the International Monetary Fund led by Gavin Gray. Deputy Head of the Presidential Office, Iryna Mudra, also took part in the meeting.

Kyrylo Budanov thanked the IMF for its consistent support aimed at strengthening Ukraine’s macroeconomic and financial stability.
The Head of the Presidential Office stressed that Ukraine is committed to continuing structural reforms that will support long-term economic resilience, post-war recovery, and further progress toward European Union membership.
Gavin Gray noted that the Fund is ready to continue its systematic support for Ukraine. The Head of the IMF mission expressed confidence in reaching constructive solutions that will help strengthen Ukraine’s economic potential and support its development.

Iryna Mudra briefed the participants on the implementation of reforms, particularly in the area of preventing and combating corruption. The Deputy Head of the Presidential Office stressed that one of Ukraine’s priorities is fulfilling its commitments under the cooperation program with the IMF.
The IMF mission is currently working in Ukraine as part of the first review of the new Extended Fund Facility (EFF) program. The joint work between the IMF team and the Ukrainian side is an important stage in Ukraine’s ongoing cooperation with the Fund.
