The heating season in Smila will not fail and it will be warm in homes of the city residents. This was stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy during a meeting with representatives of the public and authorities of the Cherkasy region. The issue of indebtedness of the heat supply enterprises of Smila for consumed gas was also discussed.

After the beginning of work of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the IX convocation, a new Prosecutor General will be appointed, with the authority to replace local prosecutors. This was stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy at a meeting with representatives of the Cherkasy region, when some participants of the conversation had complained about the work of the prosecutor of the region Serhiy Ovcharenko.

During a working trip to the Cherkasy region, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited the Cherkasy Airport. Cherkasy International Airport director Ivan Dalibozhak noted that the overhaul of the runway was started in 2018. The cost of the works is UAH 128 million. There is also project documentation for the airport apron and taxiway. He noted that there is only one road from Cherkasy to Kyiv, so there is a need for air services.
