During his speech at the Unity Forum in Mariupol, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy stressed that the end of the war and the return of the Ukrainian territories were possible due to diplomacy and sanctions pressure. And on this path, the Minsk process and the meeting of state leaders in the Normandy format are of great importance.

International experience of armed conflicts and wars in any part of the globe proves that three integral and sequential stages must be completed in order to successfully end the war and establish peace. This was stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy during a speech at the opening of the Unity Forum in Mariupol.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced the creation of the International Partnership Support Fund in cooperation with the World Bank for the restoration and future reintegration of Donbas. “Talking about the future, together with our partner, the World Bank, we are launching the International Partnership Support Fund for the reconstruction and future reintegration of Donbas. We urge everyone to be part of this great project,” the Head of State said during the closing of the RE: THINK. Invest in Ukraine Forum in Mariupol.

As part of the RE: THINK. Invest in Ukraine Forum, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Vice President of the International Finance Corporation Georgina Baker, World Bank Country Director for Belarus, Moldova and Ukraine Satu Kahkonen and Regional Manager of the International Finance Corporation in Ukraine, Belarus and Moldova Jason Pellmar.

In the framework of the RE: THINK. Invest in Ukraine Forum in Mariupol, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Vice President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development Alain Pilloux. The parties discussed conditions for maintaining a high level of investment in Ukraine and agreed that investors would come in case of stability and predictability, and the IMF program would increase investment confidence.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy took part in the youth forum "Every Tomorrow Starts Today" in Mariupol.

The European Union Project Office is open in Mariupol. It will implement two programs: decentralization and fight against corruption. This is only part of the EU's support for the eastern regions of Ukraine, as stated by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

In Mariupol, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy participated in the launch of the 1991 Mariupol Startup Development Center.

Within the RE: THINK. Invest in Ukraine Forum in Mariupol, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Cabinet of Ministers, LLC “International Communications”, PJSC “VF Ukraine”, LLC “Lifecell” and PJSC “Kyivstar” in the presence of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. It will ensure high-quality mobile communication and high-speed Internet throughout Ukraine.
