Ambassador of Ukraine to the United States of America will be appointed in the near future, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said during a press marathon.

The bill on the legalization of gambling will create opportunities for the development of hotel business in Ukraine and remove illegal gambling establishments from the streets, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy stressed.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy is in favor of eliminating at the legislative level the possibility of influence of business people on the editorial policy of the media belonging to them. The President of Ukraine is convinced that he will be able to reach an agreement with the owners of media resources on non-interference in editorial policy.

One of the tasks of the Ukrainian authorities is the reduction in the percentage of expenditure that Ukrainian families spend on the payment for communal services, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.

“We need to develop the best relations with our neighbors. We should always understand each other, develop cultural relations and leave behind our problems. Therefore, we must have strong, very good relations with Poland. I think we have them. But they must be developed without wasting time. In particular we can have meeting, joint projects, joint ventures. Relationships are always strong if there is joint business at the state level,” the President emphasized during a press marathon.

Local elections in Donbas are only possible under Ukrainian law, with the participation of the Central Election Commission and Ukrainian political parties, as well as after the withdrawal of Russian troops, disarmament of illegal armed groups and regaining control over the Ukrainian-Russian border, Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.

“It is not acceptable. I am ready to fully support you (Paralympic athletes. - Ed.) in this issue,” he said during a press marathon, answering questions about possible changes in the Paralympic community.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy supports the privatization of objects of the State Management of Affairs. However, it is necessary to take into account the specific nature of each object in the privatization process.

The Ukrainian side has already prepared lists of detained citizens and is ready for mutual release at any time, but the Russian side wants to discuss the issue during the Normandy Format Summit, Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that he would dissolve the Verkhovna Rada if conflicts began in faction of the Servant of the People party which had formed the coalition.
