President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting with Prime Minister of Denmark Mette Frederiksen.
The Head of State congratulated Denmark on holding parliamentary elections and noted the cross-party consensus on supporting Ukraine.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked Mette Frederiksen and her government for the consistently high level of support for Ukraine and for all defense packages. According to the President, Ukraine also counts on further contributions from Denmark to the PURL initiative.
The leaders discussed deepening joint defense production, particularly in the priority area of drones.
Special attention was also given to Ukraine’s cooperation with the European Union. The President thanked for unblocking the decision on the financial support package for Ukraine and the 20th package of sanctions against Russia. Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized that Ukraine is determined to move as quickly as possible toward full membership in the European Union and expects all negotiating clusters to be opened in the near future.
