Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Kyrylo Budanov and his Deputy Iryna Vereshchuk met with Ukrainians undergoing training at the Zakarpattia Regional Center for Preparing the Population for National Resistance.
They reviewed the organization of the training process, including tactical and firearms training, tactical medicine, engineering, communications, and drone operations.
The Head of the Presidential Office spoke with civilians undergoing training and presented certificates of appreciation to the Center’s leadership and instructors for their contribution to preparing citizens for national resistance.
Kyrylo Budanov and Iryna Vereshchuk also met with veterans, servicemembers released from captivity, and the Gladiator veteran and adaptive sports team. They discussed recovery, adaptation, and support for veterans.
“There are a number of problem areas – from social support to bureaucratic obstacles. We identified steps for the regional authorities and tasks that must be carried out at the central level. Caring for veterans is not a slogan – it is our duty,” said the Head of the Office of the President.
